Inconel 738 bars and rods are nickel-chromium-based alloys, designed to be used in extreme heat and pressure conditions. It contains approximately 55-65% nickel, about 20-24% chromium, and less than 5-10% cobalt, with the balance iron and about 2-3% molybdenum. The alloy shows good oxidation and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Inconel 738 is renowned for its strength, durability and ability to withstand thermal fatigue. Making it ideal for turbine blades, hot-end components and gas turbines. It is widely used in the aerospace, power generation and chemical processing industries, where reliability and performance in harsh conditions are crucial.
