439 steel grade is based on the ordinary ferrite material (430) to reduce the C content, while with Ti added, so that the resistance to grade’s intergranular corrosion, formability and weldability have been improved.
Compared with 304 stainless steel, although its elongation is lower (about 30%), but the strength and corrosion resistance is comparable, and corrosion resistance is better than 200 series materials.
Application: Elevator, escalator decorative panels, architectural decorative panels (such as decorative structural parts, structural tubes), automotive exhaust system components, washing machine inner tube
